Privacy Policy

CleanPilot is an app that helps you plan home cleaning. This page explains what data it processes, why, and how you control it. Questions: support@cleanhomeguide.com.
What we process
- Account. On first launch the app creates an anonymous account with a random identifier. Your name is optional. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, verified e-mail and first name.
- Home data. Onboarding answers (home type, rooms, area, number of adults, kids and pets, allergy flag, cleaning rhythm), rooms, tasks, completions (when, how many minutes, by whom) and scan results (Tidiness Score and task list). They are stored on your phone and synced with our server so that several devices and shared homes work.
- Room photos. When you scan a room, the photo is compressed on your phone and sent over an encrypted connection to our server and from there to Anthropic (Claude API) for analysis. We do not store photos on our server. A photo stays on your phone only if you turn on “Keep photos for before/after”.
- Shared home. Members of a home see the shared plan, each other's names and who completed what. Invite codes expire after 7 days.
- AI requests. We record the date, request type, model and token counts to enforce plan limits. We do not store the content of requests.
- Technical logs. The server records IP address, browser or device and errors for security and troubleshooting. Logs are kept for up to 14 days.
- Early-access list. If you left your e-mail on cleanhomeguide.com, we store the address, language, whether you want to test the beta and the page you signed up from. We only write about the CleanPilot launch and testing invitations; if you agreed to test, the address is added to the tester list in Google Play Console.
We show no ads, use no third-party analytics or trackers, and never sell data.
Why
To provide the service: build and sync your plan, analyse photos and run shared homes (performance of a contract); and to protect the service from abuse (legitimate interest).
Who we share data with
- Our hosting provider — storing data on our server.
- Anthropic PBC — processing photos and text for AI features (Anthropic's privacy policy).
- Google — Google Sign-In and, in the future, subscription billing through Google Play.
How long we keep data
As long as your account exists. After you delete your account, data is removed from the live database immediately and from backups within 30 days. We remove an early-access address on your first request to support@cleanhomeguide.com, or one year after the app launches.
Your rights
- Get a copy of your data: “Profile → Privacy & AI → Export data”.
- Correct your data: edit it in the app.
- Delete your account and data: “Profile → Privacy & AI → Delete account”, or see Delete account.
- Ask a question or complain: support@cleanhomeguide.com. EU and UK residents may also contact their data protection authority.
Children
The app is not intended for use by children under 13 on their own (under 16 in the EU). Kids' tasks are created and managed by adults.
Security
Data travels only over HTTPS, server access is restricted, and every device has its own token that can be revoked.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app about significant changes.
